Community standards
Short, and enforced.
This is not a legal document. It is the behaviour the community depends on, in the order we care about it.
Yes, we will actually remove people.
01
Show up as yourself
One account, your real name, a face people can recognise. Impersonating someone else ends the account immediately.
02
A maybe is not a booking
Nobody here owes you a bed, a ride, or an evening. Treating an openness setting as an obligation is the fastest way to lose access.
03
No is a complete answer
Pass, decline, cancel, change your mind. Pressuring someone after they have said no is harassment, and we treat it that way.
04
Be honest about money
If something you offer costs money, say so up front. NoLodging does not handle payments; anything you agree is between you. Scams, bait-and-switch and pressuring someone for money get you removed.
05
Your arrangements are your own
If you offer someone a place to rest, a ride or anything else, that is between the two of you — NoLodging does not arrange it, and does not stop it. You are responsible for the rules where you live.
06
Write the truth in references
References are the trust layer for everyone else. Trading positive references, or retaliating with a false one, corrupts the thing that makes this work.
07
Report what worries you
Safety reports are read by people, not a queue that goes nowhere. Reporting someone never reveals you to them.
